He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie H. Jones and David A. Jones; and his granddaughter Jasmine Major-Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Pamela B. Jones; his sons, Joseph D. Jones (Wendy), Justin D. Jones (Melissa) and Jaime E. Gibson (Ross); and his grandchildren, Hayden, Hayley, Jackson, Mallorie Jones, Nolen and Collin Gibson.
