It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Herndon Edwards (Danville, Virginia), who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Eugene and Bernice Naomi Carter Herndon; and her spouse Alonza "Lonnie" Lee Edwards. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sadie Lee, Dawson Lee, Brayden Lee and Ally Skye; her sisters, Nancy Walker (Charles), Pam Riggins (Jay) and Naomi Gibson (Randy); and her caregiver Martha Crews. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and very special friends.
