It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Williams Thornton (Danville, Virginia), who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Brooks Williams and Roy William Williams; and her grandson Matthew Allen Ryals. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Neal McNeely (Mack) and Lisa Neal Brown (Mike); her sisters, Beverly Williams McGregor (Donald) of Chatham, VA., Linda Williams Ledford (Tony) of Chesterfield and Denese Williams Daniels (Charlie) of Thomasville, NC.; her grandchildren, Randall Craig Ryals II of Archdale, NC., Sydney Brown of Archdale, NC., Mackie McNeely of Ridgeway, VA. and Misty Rogers of Ridgeway, VA.; her great grandchild Meagan McNeill (Charles) of Cheyene, WY.; and her great great grandchildren, Kaylee and Cameron McNeill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
