He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Gilbert Hedrick; his son Bruce Gilbert Hedrick II; and his sister Debra Hedrick. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Crowder Hedrick; his sister Elizabeth Shelton (Dennis) of Chesapeake, VA.; his grandchildren, Bruce Landon Kendrick and Brison Graham Hedrick; and his close friends, Artie Thompkins and Wendy Earles. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
