She was predeceased by: her parent Jerrell McDowell Paxton; her husband George Tickle; her son Micheal Pruitt; and her stepson John Tickle. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Pruitt of Roxboro, NC, Wesley (Brandy Pruitt), Robert (Amber Stewart) and Dusty Stewart of Danville, VA; her stepchildren, Marshall (Jennifer Tickle) and Bobbie (Louis Dillion); and her siblings, Forrest (Robin Paxton), Barry Paxton (Mary Smith), Clay Paxton of Danville, VA, April Edwards (Leonard Daniel) of Danville, VA and Jan (Thomas Whitlow). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren.
