She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Maurice Konecke and Grace Byrnes Konecke; her husband Giles; her siblings, Charles Konecke, Lillian Varga and Florence Johnson; and her niece Anne Mary Konecke.
She is survived by: her son Charles (Elizabeth); her granddaughter D. Whitehead (Thomas); her nieces and nephews, Diane Kaufmann, Patty Marsiglia, Kathy Ricker, Christine D'Ovidio, George Varga, Mark Konecke and Charles Konecke; and her pet Molly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to Rivermont Baptist Church, 122 Sunset Place, Danville, VA 24540.
