It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Harden Burnette (Danville, Virginia), who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Lee Burnette and Sallie Gauldin Burnette Carter; and his siblings, Nancy Dean, Ronnie Burnette and Patsy Scearce.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Tuck Burnette; his sons, Bradley Scott Burnette (Donna Eanes), Jeffrey Todd Burnette (Juliet Burnette) and Jason Cole Burnette (Sascha Burnette); his grandchildren, Hunter Burnette (Josie Dew), Austin Burnette (Laura Burnette), Drew Burnette and Gavin Burnette; his great grandchildren, Brantley Burnette (BB), Lilly Burnette and Sadie Burnette; and his sister Brenda Burnett (Danny Burnett). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brosville United Methodist Church.
