It is with sadness that the passing of Charles Eugene Campbell (Danville, Virginia) is shared. Charles, born on April 20, 1946, passed away on October 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Carrie Perkins Campbell Huffstickler; his wife Vickie D. Pruitt (Lord); his son Donald Ray Campbell; and his siblings, Frances Clark, Gay Strader, Leon Livingstone Campbell and Timothy Huffstickler.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles Leon Campbell of Ringgold, VA and Wayne Campbell (Carol) of Keeling, VA; his sisters, Barbara L. Hudgins of Ringgold, VA and Karen H. Kuchinski (Mike Jr) of Ringgold, VA; his grandchildren, C. W., Nickie, Jacob, Tiffany and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Cashel, Lily, Rhyatt, Nash, Sianna, Elijah and Kamdyn; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Clark. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel (703 N Main St, Danville, VA 24540). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Highland Burial Park (3049 N Main St, Danville, VA 24540).
