He was predeceased by: his parents, Ione Bobbitt Haley and Ruben B. Haley; his wife Betty Jean Wooldridge Haley; his siblings, Isla Mae Haley Brumfield, J. D. Haley, Guy Haley and Monsie Haley; his grandson Philip Wyatt; and his son-in-law Terry Wyatt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon H. Fox (Rickie) of Danville, VA., Wanda H. Reece (Wayne) of Danville, VA. and Denise H. Wyatt of Providence, NC.; his grandchildren, Haley Fox Grayson, Eric Fox and Jason Wyatt; and his great grandchildren, Kathryn Wyatt, Charlie Grayson, Andy Weatherford, Asher Fox, Ryan Wyatt and Hudson Fox.
