He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Ferrell and Virginia Hinton Glass; his son Charles Edward Glass; and his siblings, Frances Davis, Shirley Glass, Odell Ferrell and Junior Ferrell.

He is survived by: his son Timothy Charles Glass (Ordette); his stepchildren, Lakeisha Mease (Tommy), Larissa Farmer, Joelkenda Farmer (Lashawn) and Gloria Farmer Willis (Antonio); his sisters, Hazel Oliver and Bertha Bennett (Tony); his caregivers, Jeffrey and Lawania Huffman; his godchildren, Myles Penick and Devonte Penick; and his caregivers, Delandra Hodge of Rinda Care, Karina, Stephanie of Amedisys and Chante Chaney. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren; two devoted special friends.
