He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Griffin; his children, Deborah Burkett of Yanceyville, NC, Derek (Gwen) of Dry Fork, VA and Mark (Tasha) of Scottsburg, VA.; and his brothers, George (Liz) of Winston Salem, NC, John (Betty) of Moore, SC and Harry (Mary) of Climax, NC.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
