She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Benjamin Scearce and Isabella Barber Scearce; and her siblings, Daniel Scearce, Jr., John Scearce, Raymond Scearce, Willie Scearce, Mary Scearce Hundley and Florence Scearce Merricks.
She is survived by: her husband Milton Ray Dodson, Sr.; her sons, Milton R. Dodson, Jr. (Lisa Dodson) of Center Valley, PA and Daniel L. Dodson of Bethesda, MD.; her grandchildren, Michael, Benjamin, Luke and Jill; her niece Linda Jones; and her nephew David Scearce. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
