He is survived by: his daughter Joyce Bowler (Edward) of Haymarket, Virginia; his siblings, Herbert Junior Bond of Concord and Carlene Amelia Shackelford of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his grandchildren, Dylane Bond, Tanya Steeds, Stacy Hoffman, Joshua Bond and Brittany Tibbs; his great grandchildren, Mason, Chloe, Michael, Lily, Jameson, Caroline and Collins; his daughter-in-law Roseanna Bond; and his close friend Jill Bowman.
