Curtis McCoy Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 15, 2022, at the age of 80, Curtis McCoy Smith of Danville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Mark and Marvin Smith; his son-in-law Larry Herndon, Jr.; and his great grandchild Brooks Allen Scott. He is survived by: his wife Judith Turpin Smith; his daughters, Melissa Herndon, Angela Walker (Steve), Dana Coble, Lori Watlington (Paul) and Jill Scearce (Chris); his sisters, Helen Scarboro and Linda Simpson (Donald); and his sister-in-law Judy Smith. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to God's Pit Crew or Ferry Road Friends Church Building Fund.
