He is survived by: his sons, Brian Tanksley of Halifax and Brandon Tanksley (Allison) of Chatham; his grandchildren, Parker Tanksley, Spencer Tanksley, Hallie Tanksley and Amber Cook; and his sister-in-law Pat Tanksley of Danville.
