He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Herman Pruitt. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his mother Gladys Jones Hopkins; his brothers, Wayne Pruitt, Jimmy Pruitt (Margie), Ron Pruitt (Ann) and Steve Pruitt (Ursula); and his children, Beth Pruitt Holt (Chris), Dannie Pruitt, Jr. (Melanie), Robbie Pruitt and Jennifer Cassell.
