He is survived by: his mother Sarah Butts Phelps; his wife Lisa Phelps; his son Jonathan Phelps; his stepchildren, Joey Shelton and Angie Parsons; and his siblings, Mike Phelps (Vickie), Cathy Durham and Tammy Shelton Harville (Kevin). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
