He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jesse Johnston and Melinda Cecil Johnston; his brothers, Douglas Lee Johnston and Robert Jesse Johnston; his parents-in-law, Ines M. Hogan and Isaiah B. Hogan; his brother-in-law Ralph B. Hogan; and his nephew Douglas Johnston, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Johnston Creedon (William) of Denver, CO; his grandchildren, William Forrest Creedon of New York, NY and Elizabeth Claire Creedon of Greenville, SC; his siblings-in-law, June H. Conner, Ellen Atkins and Dannie L Hogan; and his sibling's children, Robert Johnston, Jr. and Angie Goad.
Also, the family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holland Road Baptist Church, 798 Holland Road, Danville, VA, 24541.
