It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Dees of Danville, Virginia, born in DeBerry, Texas, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orden Dees and Lottie Stroud Dees; and his brother John. He is survived by: his son Dr. Charles Dees (Sarah); his stepchildren, Beth Hancock Yopp (Eric) and Ryan Hancock (Elizabeth Markham); his grandchildren, Hannah (Teddy), Abigail and Charlie; and his stepgrandchildren, Caleb, Hayden Yopp, Peyton and Liam Markham.
