He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Adams Evans. He is survived by: his father Joseph Evans, Sr.; his children, Shauniece Scott of Roanoke, Virginia and Marteno Holmes of Wallens Ridge, Virginia; his siblings, Tonya Howard of Yanceyville, Quaneshia Adams of Norfolk, Virginia, Joseph Evans, Jr. of Pound, Benjamin Florence of Danville, George Tucker of Greensboro and Benjamin Tucker of Oakwood, Virginia; and his close friends, Eric and Keith McMoore. He is also survived by six grandchildren, one great grandchild.
