He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Turner and Elsie Perkins Turner; his wife Beverly Collins Turner; his daughter Judy Lynn Turner; and his brother Wesley Wade Turner.
He is survived by: his son Kenny Turner; and his siblings, Curtis Turner (Martha), Linda Little (Roger) and Barbara Adkins (Posey). He is also survived by two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Danville Life Saving Crew.
