She was predeceased by: her parents, Yvonne Brown and Jace L. Gunn; her son Darick Richardson; her sisters, Carolyn Brown and Katherine Brown; her grandson Darick Richardson Jr.; and her stepmother Arlene Gunn.
She is survived by: her husband Phillip Adolph Richardson; her children, Christopher Richardson (Shunia Burruss) and Tameca Richardson of Gibsonville, NC; her sisters, Debbie Ann Williams, Diane Brown, Tiffany Horne and Shyra Settle (Isaac); her grandchildren, Quentarra Richardson, Diamond Richardson, Christian Richardson and Titan Richardson; her great grandchild Rylee Richardson; and her close friends, Dorothy Fitzgerald and Gladys Farmer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
