It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Castle Flinchum (Danville, Virginia), who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Wann Castle and Robert Wade Castle; her husband James Wesley Flinchum; her son Donald Wayne Flinchum; her siblings, Nancy Stilwell, Delores Marshall and Douglas Castle; and her grandchildren, Katie Lynn Flinchum and Jacob Benjamin Flinchum.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Jane Williams (Jerry) of Danville, VA, Linda Mae Talley (Roger) of Chatham, VA, Jerry Wade Flinchum (Marsha) of Dry Fork, VA, Keith James Flinchum of Danville, VA and Wesley Douglas Flinchum (Wendy) of Dry Fork, VA; and her niece Pat Henley. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
