It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Alease Eanes of Danville, Virginia, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Cordie Alease Huff Hammock; her husband John Wayne Eanes; and her sisters, Elizabeth Weadon and Agnes Champion. She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Dale Romano; her grandson Steven Ray Parsons (Julie); her great grandchild Anna Parsons; her brother Kenny Hammock (Bernice); her caregiver Melinda Davis; and her pet Ziggy. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
