She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha Taylor and Maggie D. Taylor; her husband Rev. Joseph I. Willis; and her siblings, Ruby Cook and Vernon Taylor of Morganton, NC..

She is survived by: her children, Billy Joe Willis of Valdese, NC and Becky Taylor (Mike Taylor) of Ringgold, VA.; her grandson Brandon Taylor (Heather) of Reno, NV.; and her great grandchildren, Julia Carter, MacKenzie Taylor, Asher Taylor, Henri Taylor and Avelyn Taylor. She is also survived by mother and always was proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
