We are sad to announce that, on February 27, 2026, at the age of 89, Dorothy Louise Vaden (Danville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Marvin Caudle and Mary Gertrude Roberts Caudle; her husband Melvin Lee Vaden; and her siblings, Stella Caudle McGee, James Marvin Caudle, Jr., Ed Caudle and Bobby Joe Caudle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Harrell and Lou Ann Woerner (Richard); her sister Ruth Caudle Johnson; and her friends, Cynthia Goble and Martia McNeill. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
