He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Henry Gammon and Thelma White Gammon; and his wife Carrie Lee Walker Gammon. He is survived by: his sister Iris G. Scearce; and his sisters-in-law, Bette Keatts of Danville and Shirley Gammon of Danville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
