It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Sell Hendricks of Danville, Virginia, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 11, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred H. Sell and Mildred Winget Sell Porter; her husband Francis Patrick Hendricks; her brother William Sell; and her daughter-in-law Kathleen "Kit" Hendricks.

She is survived by: her sons, Richard P. Hendricks and Steven W. Hendricks (Cindy); her grandchildren, Richard Hendricks, Jr. (Christina), Elizabeth "Beth" Larsen (Matthew), Heather Stein (Jesse) and Patrick Hendricks (Nikki Kureczka); and her great grandchildren, Carter, Charlotte Larsen, Camden and Oliver Stein. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
