She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Alexander Slate and Onota Dickens Slate; her husband Archie D. Liverman, Jr.; and her sister Judy S. Bailey. She is survived by: her children, Michael Scott Liverman (Dawn) of Ringgold, VA, Steven Bradley Liverman of Roanoke, VA and Donna L. Alexander (Tom) of Greensboro, NC; her grandchildren, Stephanie Eaker (Andrew), Brandon Alexander and Emily Liverman; her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Weston Eaker; and her brother Thomas A. Slate, Jr. (Susan) of Portsmouth, VA..
