With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen Wilson of Danville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 13, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal White and Nancy Davis White; her siblings, Hubert White, Marzetta White Easley and Carol Jean Davis; and her close friend Lionell Irby.
She is survived by: her son Ronnell White of Danville, VA; her siblings, Edgar Mac White, Jerome White of Danville, VA, Joneal Randle of Danville, VA and Valerie White of Augusta, GA; and her siblings-in-law, Tony Easley of Danville, VA and Yvonne McCullen of Danville, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Visitation was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 10:45 AM at the J. L. Dodson & Sons Funeral Est. (25824 Greensville Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803). A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment (447 Old South Main St, Danville, VA 24541).
