She was predeceased by: her mother Stella Griffith; her children, Timmy Scearce and Janie Rae Adkins; and her brother Clarence Garrett. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Scearce, David Scearce and Teresa Scearce; her brother Donald Garrett; her grandchildren, Jessica Scearce, Jesse Scearce, Thomas Scearce, Jr., Morgan Benhoff (Will), Ashley Smith (Austin) and Richard Scearce; her great grandchildren, Braxton, Gunner, Weston and Nevaeh; and her close friend Joe Finney.
