She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Harris Sr. and Annie Odelia Morton Harris; her son Dennis Harris; and her siblings, Albert Morton (Jittybug) of Washington, DC, Richard Harris (Shorty) of Dry Fork, VA, Boisseau Harris (Choke) of Dry Fork, VA, Aubery Jr. (Snap) of Dry Fork, VA, Ronnie Harris of Dry Fork, VA, Rayvon Harris of Dry Fork, VA and Phyllis Harris of Danville Va.
She is survived by: her children, Annette James Jones of Danville, Virginia, Angela James Irvin (Richard) of Danville, Virginia, Sophia James Marshall (Andre) of Danville, Virginia, Lisa James Logan (Gerald) of Danville, Virginia and Clinton James; and her sisters, Gloria Harris (Maxine), Brenda Preston and Annie Tarpley (Delphine) of Danville. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Services and Cremation (179 Piney Forest Rd, Danville, VA 24540).
