He is survived by: his wife Margaret Huffman; his brother Arnold Akers (Clark); his children, Donald Akers (Vicky) and Robin Brewer (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Jeremy Akers (Sherry) and Jennifer Reams (Joey); and his great grandchildren, Sterling Akers, Kaylee Reams, Camden Reams and Kinston Reams.
