He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnus Irene Harris Griffith and Alonza William Griffith; his wife Iris Mae Toler Griffith; and his siblings, Dennis, Richard Eugene, Dexter, Franklin, Jack, James Patrick Griffith, Vivian Neal Mathews and Martha Larene Blake.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marie Smith (Larry) of China Grove, NC and Malindy Lou Debause of Portsmouth, VA; and his cousin Clarence Blains.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Schoolfield Cemetery (360 Schoolfield Dr, Danville, VA 24541).
