She was predeceased by : her parents, Hiram Bowling and Beulah Bowling; her spouse Claude S. Pyron Jr.; and her siblings, Diamond Boyd (Lane) of Ferrum, VA and Herbert Bowling (Zilphia) of Rocky Mount, VA..

She is survived by : her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Sandra Pyron; her daughter Sylvia; her son-in-law Tripp McFarling; her son Paul Pyron of Danville, VA; and her brother Hosea Bowling of Ferrum, VA.. She is also survived by five granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
