We are sad to announce that, on August 29, 2022, at the age of 74, Faye Carolyn Simpson of Danville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Laughton Simpson and Virginia Louise Tanksley Simpson; her daughter Sheryl Hardcastle; her brother Wayne Simpson; and her pets, Naja and Zina.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Amanda Crews (Travis) of Callands and Lance Hardcastle (Julia) of Charlottesville; her sister Doris Simpson Cobb of Richmond; her son-in-law John Hardcastle of Dillwyn; and her nephews, Travis Cobb (Ashley) and Trevor Cobb.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Pittsylvania County Pet Center.
