She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryant Wister Roberts and Mary Davis Roberts; her husband George Emmitt Pyrtle; and her siblings, Lawrence, Marvin, Martin Roberts and Kay Whitt.
She is survived by: her son Mike Pyrtle (Angela) of Windsor, VA; her grandchildren, Kiersten Steele (Craig) and Desiree Wilson (Brad); and her great grandchildren, Aurora, Bryson and Charlotte. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial donations be made to Ringgold Vol.
