She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryant Wister Roberts and Mary Davis Roberts; her husband George Emmitt Pyrtle; and her siblings, Lawrence, Marvin, Martin Roberts and Kay Whitt.
She is survived by: her son Mike Pyrtle (Angela) of Windsor, VA; her grandchildren, Kiersten Steele (Criag) and Desiree Wilson (Brad); and her great grandchildren, Aurora, Bryson and Charlotte. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel (5858 Riverside Dr, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial donations be made to Ringgold Vol.
