He is survived by: his wife Gloria Lewis; his children, Forest David Lewis and Rebecca Michelle Carrie Lewis (Wade); his grandchildren, Samantha Lewis, Travis Lewis, Dustin Lewis, Kaimana Murry and Dylan Murry; his sister Patricia Norma Lewis; his nieces, Karen Hardy, Tiffany Pugh and Natasha Conyers; his nephew John Hardy; and his brother-in-law Charles Jecminek.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Townes Funeral Home (215 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
