It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin David Myers of Danville, Virginia, who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ryland David Myers and Margaret Hendricks Myers; and his siblings, Donald Wayne Myers, Andy Myers, Willie Myers, Tony Myers and Jeanette Neely.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Worley Myers; his daughter Penny Holley (Douglas); his grandchildren, Vincent Douglas Holley and Katherine Elizabeth Holley; and his siblings, Ricky Myers and Patricia Cook. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel (5858 Riverside Dr, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family asks, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 240 Commonwealth Blvd W, Unit 602B, Martinsville, VA 24112.
