He was predeceased by: his parents, Young George Calloway of Washington and Elosie Frances Elliott Calloway; his wife Peggy Ann Jennings Calloway; his daughter Deborah Calloway Durham; his great grandchild Matthew McClain; and his sister Evon Calloway Gosney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Calloway of Danville, VA and Muriel Huyser (Paul) of Reidsville, NC; his son-in-law Donnie Durham of Thomasville, NC; and his siblings, Atron Calloway of Danville, VA and Faye Bailey of Denton, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
