We are sad to announce that, on October 28, 2021, at the age of 75, Glenn Cecil Moss (Danville, Virginia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Glenn Cecil Moss to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Robert Moss and Mabel Elizabeth Gammon Moss; his brothers, Fred Moss and Joseph Moss; and his brother-in-law Ronald Taylor.

He is survived by: his wife Vickie Evans Moss; his children, Scott Moss (Hope) and Elizabeth Ware (D.); his grandchildren, Lainey Moss, Colston Ware, Lauren Ware and Will Moss; his siblings, Frances Taylor, Brenda Gammon (Benny) and Willie Moss (Lottie); and his sister-in-law Louise Moss. He is also survived by his friend.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest that donations be made to the Bachelor's Hall Volunteer Fire Department – 1301 Berry Hill Road, Danville, VA 24541 or the Moss Family Cemetery Fund- C/O Cynthia Parker- 1350 Randolph Drive, Keeling, VA 24566.

“So sorry for your loss. Glenn was a very special man. Remembering back over the years growing up he would help us with tobacco. This one summer we all went to the river bottoms to swim after chopping weeds in the tobacco fields. I drifted off in a hole where sand had been dipped. I didn’t know any better and was swimming upstream. After going under 3 times from exhaustion Glenn came in and rescued me. I owe him my life. Prayers for the family and I’m here if you need anything at all. Susie”
