He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Jones and Winona Gordon Jones; his brother Roy Jones; his wife Myrtie Lane Jones; his children, Barbara Jo Phillips (Charles E. Phillips, Jr.) and Ricky Lane Crumpton; his grandsons, Charles E. Phillips, III (Shanna), Robert Stone Phillips (Amanda), Joey Reed Phillips (Amanda), Andrew Nicholas Crumpton (Jenney) and Corey Joseph Crumpton (Tia); his great grandchildren, Caroline, Grayson, Mason, Olivia, Lily Grace, Levi and Luca; his sibling's children, Janet Bryant and Benny Rector; and also, Margie Jones Mclean and Edith Jones Rector.
