He was predeceased by: his parents, Gorris William Jefferson and Virginia Hopkins Jefferson. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Chandler Jefferson; and his daughter Lisa Jefferson Smith of Virginia. He is also survived by two grandsons; and several cousins.
