He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Strange Jennings and Willie Leonard Jennings; his wife Brenda Mann Jennings; his adoptive parent Chip; his siblings, Peggy J. Calloway (Dutch), Patsy Dean J. Archer (Jerry) and James Jennings (Jean); and his brother-in-law Robert Downing.
He is survived by: his son Harold Lee Jennings II; his siblings, Willie L. Jennings (Brenda), Betty J. Downing and Carolyn J. Rumphrey (Arnold); his pet Baby; Brandon, Maggie and Connie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
