He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Smith Beck and Boyd M. Beck; and his sister Carolyn Pullian. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Simpson Beck; his sons, Eric Beck (Melissa) of Danville, VA. and Gregory Beck (Jenny Drummey) of Fairfax, VA.; his brothers, Blaine Beck (Ines) and Martin Beck; his grandchildren, Brittany (Chris), Hunter and Landon; and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Carson. He is also survived by many other family members, friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Mt. Hermon Baptist Church or to Mt. Hermon Fire & Rescue.
