With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henrietta Bell Abercrombie in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on June 28, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Rabun Bell and Charles Clayton Bell of Greensboro, NC.; her husband Milo Bolling Abercrombie, III; her grandson Steven Bruce Daniels, Jr.; her sister Rabun Bell Barney; her nephew David Barney; and her brother-in-law Jim Betts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Abercrombie Daniels (Steve) of Danville, Jane Abercrombie Eggleston (Jim) of Danville and Martha Abercrombie Woodley of Raleigh, NC.; her grandchildren, Taylor Daniels Wilhelm (Patterson), Rebecca Daniels McDaniel (Peyton), Mary Clayton Eggleston McGee (Michael), James Bolling Eggleston (Sallie), Helen Cade Woodley (Joseph) and Mary Milo Ogburn Woodley (Grayson); her great grandchildren, Michael McGee, Milo McGee, Elizabeth Wilhelm, Bruce Wilhelm, Reese McDaniel and Louella Gardner; and her sister Betty Bell Betts of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
