She is survived by: her children, William James Chavis, Jr. (Sharon) of Forest and Nancy Chavis Walker (Mike) of Danville; her grandchildren, Scott Wells (Carrie), Leslie Barksdale (Skip), Lindsey Wells and Will Chavis (Katherine); her great grandchildren, Carsen, Marley, Rylee and Olivia (Livy); and her nieces, Joan Smith and Donna Aragon.
