He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Mack Williams and Hattie Mae Neely; his daughters, Donna Hyler and Betty Wilmoth; and his sisters, Pansy Liner, Maxie Highsmith and Sylvia Hodges.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jackie Minter (Dennis) and Diane Sheperd; and his granddaughters, Karen Early, Michelle Dodson, Nichole Gregory and Melissa Childress. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
