We are sad to announce that, on June 27, 2020, James A. Lewis (Danville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mabel Dalton Lewis; his parents, Charlie Coleman Lewis and Annie Robertson Lewis; and his siblings, Leslie of Johnny, CW, Edward and Clincie Craddock.

He is survived by: his children, Patsy Barr (John), Nancy Lindsey, Charles Lewis and Keith Lewis (Kim). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church, 871 Main Street, Danville, VA 24541.
