He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Grady Lynch and Lucy Rena Snead Lynch; his wife Idella Ricketts Lynch; his daughter Betty Jo Lynch; his granddaughter Jo Michelle Matthews; and his children, James Lee Lynch, Jr. (Nancy) of Boydton, Virginia and Sylvia Lee Lynch-Matthews (John) of Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was also cherished by five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
